Designer
During
my work at the museum I created and managed the Museum’s
Exhibit Department. I supervised exhibit staff and interns; hired
and supervised contractors; trained staff, contractors and interns.
I also prepared performance evaluations, work schedules and exhibit
schedules; tracked work time and costs for individual exhibit
projects. I designed, produced and installed interpretive exhibits
and graphics, developed exhibit and graphics design vocabularies
and voluntary learning approaches, coordinated in-house and contract
exhibit projects. I also served on the Exhibit Committee, the
Interpretive Master Plan Committee and on all exhibit project
teams.
